Then got super defensive when I told him it was inappropriate to send pic and to read my ad and website. Defensive and reactive, reeks of toxic masculinity. And didn’t want to send a deposit. He had a reference that verified him. She said something was A Bit Off about him too, and that he had sent her a picture of himself as well, but she really needed the money at the time and that everything went well, but that she would normally not see someone that behaves this way. I think he just doesn’t have any emotional maturity around what’s appropriate and not appropriate etiquette in the context of Provider client! I would just set firm boundaries and not over engage and get a deposit! But be prepared for endless messaging!
