Posting Policy

Thinking of Posting on Bad Men Report?
Please read this information before submitting a report.

Bad Men Report is a public platform for women to document unsafe, threatening, or harmful encounters with men.
Our goal is to help protect other women by making patterns of concerning behavior visible and searchable. Every report contributes to a safer community.

We welcome submissions from women of all backgrounds and professions—whether your experience occurred through dating apps, social situations, workplaces, living arrangements, online platforms, rideshares, or any other context.

What to Include in a Report:

Please share any identifying or relevant information you’re comfortable disclosing, such as:

  • Full Name or Nicknames
  • Social Media Handles or Usernames
  • Phone Numbers or Email Addresses
  • Location (City, Region, or Area)
  • Physical Description or Distinctive Features (tattoos, accents, etc.)
  • Screenshots of messages or proof, when possible

Consider the Nature of the Behavior Before Posting:

Not every uncomfortable encounter needs a public post.
This is a space for sharing experiences that posed real safety concerns, not just awkward or disappointing behavior.

Use your best judgment when determining whether a situation rises to the level of a public warning.

General Guideline for Types of Behavior:

Minor Concerns May Include:

  • Flaky, disrespectful, or unreliable communication
  • Passive-aggressive behavior or emotional manipulation
  • Persistent texting or calling after being asked to stop
  • Making uncomfortable or inappropriate comments

These situations may not warrant a full report unless part of a larger pattern.

Moderate Concerns May Include:

  • Repeated harassment after being told “no”
  • Intentionally lying about identity or intentions
  • Gaslighting or manipulation
  • Showing up uninvited to your home, workplace, or event
  • Attempts to guilt, pressure, or intimidate you into uncomfortable situations

Major Concerns Include (but are not limited to):

  • Physical assault or unwanted touching
  • Stalking or persistent surveillance
  • Threats of harm (verbal, physical, or digital)
  • Drugging or attempted incapacitation
  • Sharing or obtaining your private information without consent
  • Use of coercion, blackmail, or intimidation
  • Financial scams, fraud, or theft of belongings
  • Posing a risk to your bodily safety, mental well-being, or privacy

Posting Ethically

  • This is a platform for truthful, safety-focused sharing.
  • We urge you to be thoughtful and honest in your report.
  • Please avoid exaggeration, revenge-posting, or public shaming over minor disputes.
  • Ask yourself: Is this post meant to protect others from danger or manipulation? If the answer is yes, your voice belongs here.

  • We do not moderate or remove posts except in rare, specific cases.
  • We are not under any legal obligation to delete content.
Like many global platforms, we are protected by laws similar to the U.S. Communications Decency Act (Section 230).
  • We do not edit user-submitted content but may work with legal professionals to ensure safety and compliance.
  • We are not neutral—we stand with women who speak out.

Thank you for helping us create a safer world.
