Removal
In some cases, we’ve worked with law firms and reputation management companies that we trust to perform thorough background research and advocate responsibly on behalf of their clients. If you are working with one of these firms, your removal request will be reviewed and processed more quickly. These firms are expected to uphold high ethical standards and present only well-supported, fact-checked cases. We have absolutely no connection to them and reserve the right to deny removal requests from them and/or different firms.

Bad Men Report was created to help protect women by giving them a space to share their experiences and warn others. We are not a neutral platform—we stand with the women who bravely post in the interest of safety, community awareness, and harm prevention.
If you are the subject of a report and would like it removed or disputed, you have two options:
- Reach out to the original poster and request that they update or remove the post.
- Contact us directly with your request, including any relevant information or documentation.
We evaluate removal requests carefully and on a case-by-case basis. While we may choose to remove content in rare and exceptional circumstances—such as proven legal violations or direct harm—we are under no legal obligation to do so.
As a platform that hosts third-party content, we are protected under Section 230 of the U.S. Communications Decency Act (CDA), which provides that:
“No provider or user of an interactive computer service shall be treated as the publisher or speaker of any information provided by another information content provider.”
This means we are not legally responsible for user-generated posts and are not required to remove them, even if someone disagrees with their content. We do not alter, verify, or moderate posts based on disputes from those named.
Even if a post is removed from public view, a non-public archived version may remain on our servers for legal, compliance, and safety reasons. We also collaborate with select legal firms to ensure that any decisions regarding content removal are thoughtful, legally sound, and aligned with our mission to protect women.
If you are working with legal counsel, they may contact us on your behalf. However, we will not remove or alter content simply because it is disputed—we prioritize women’s right to share their experiences and keep each other safe.
